Ford 292 y block tuning

Can anyone help with information on the following
Cylinders 1,4,6,7 are running rich
Cylinders 2,3,5,8 are running lean
Does the 292 have a dual plane manifold that is causing this imbalance , ie crack or air leak
What causes this to happen?

Yes.  It could also be a carburetor problem.
