my gauge reads low. they show 2 different sending units. 1963 f100 with a 292. C3AZ-10884-A and C3TZ-10884-A . which is correct and could this be why my gauge is off.

First, have you checked the thermostat's rating & operation ?

I have 2 which have different resistance and the one at 46 ohms seems high to me and the one with 41 ohms reads low...I wish had an answer..Good luck
