speedometer gear 57 ranchero?

What speedometer driven gear do I need for a 57 ranchero with 292 engine, 3 speed manual trans. (no overdrive), 3.89 rear end, 14" tires?

Based on the parts manual, if your tires are 7.50 X 14, then a 21 teeth speedometer gear is required. If the tires are 8.00 X 14, then a 20 teeth gear is needed.
