need advice on converting 57 ranchero to disc front brakes(least expensive)

I want to covert 57 ranchero to disk front brakes,have heard grenada  works,also do i need a booster. curently have dual master cyl 15/16 piston. thanks for any info. cliff

Cliff, I installed the Drop em and Stop em kit in my '55 Club Sedan and installed my own Power Booster and Master Cylinder. This is the Granada set up. Their web site list says this kit fits '54 to '64 Fords ,Mercs and TBirds so I'm guessing it would work on a Ranchero..  They have separate listings for power and non power brake setups so I would assume that, yes, you can use a non power M/C.

I'm not sure about the 57. Ball joints changed in the passenger cars after 56. Someone here will know the answer though. By the way I keep mentioning that the Lincoln Versailles disk setup including the spindle will bolt to the 54-56 ball joints without modification. They are harder to find but? Chuck
