Hello,
I am new here, i live in Belgium and just bought a Ford F100 1955 with a 239 ci y block.
On the carb it says Ford CW.
I would like to change the carb because it is incomplete.
Could i use a Edelbrock? if i can, can anyone tell me what type i should buy, and do i need a new intake manifold?

You should be able to use one of the Edelbrock copies of a stromberg 94 or 97.It should fit your stock manifold.

I would highly recommend the Edelbrock 94s.
They are a little more money, but very reliable.

Holley 94 you can get parts to rebuild it at vintage speed. Or as Ted mentioned Edelbrock makes a reproduction. The center carb on my 3x2 is an edelbrock the outers are original (I had to get a replacement when I stripped a bolt) aside from the color the only major difference is it has modern Phillips head bolts rather than the original slotted.
