By ChickenManMotors - 11 Years Ago I'm putting a 292 with a spin on oil filter in a 1950 F2 pickup and suspect that I may encounter a space issue between the stubby spin on oil filter and the steering box.  Should this happen, I'm looking for a source for a remote oil filter kit and would like to know if these kits are unique for the Y Block or the same as other Ford engines?  Filter threads and mating surface should be the same right?
