I have the large size drain plug. I ordered a "washer"/"gasket" with a new plug. the washer is copper-looking metal but the dang thing won't quite seal, so I have a drip...
any suggestions on a fix?  wish I had something that would compress a bit as the plug is tightened but can't seem to find anything.
thanks,Mark

O ring or washer in the plumbing aisle at the box stores?

I get mine in the drain plug washer section of the parts store.  I usually use either nylon or a rubber coated metal washer.  I prefer the rubber coated metal.

Cut a washer out of a plastic coffee can cover, O rings work sometimes but they can also squish out.
