Which tools work for the Y and where can I get one?  Or should I have a machine shop make it?

Any of the universal cam bearing tools with the expandable mandrels work fine on the Y.  For myself, I use a machined stepped bushing with a solid bar driver that also works well for both removing and installing the cam bearings.  If making yourself a bushing and driver for the Y cam bearings, then the book measurements for the cam journals are  1.926" ±.0005" while the cam bearing bores in the block are  2.058"±.001".  Make the cam bearing portion of the bushing 1.927” while the outer diameter needs to be in the neighborhood of 2.050” or just enough smaller to clear the cam bearing bores when installing the empty tool into the bores or pushing the bearings out.  Always sufficiently oil the wear surface of the cam bearing before inserting them on the cam driver to minimizing any scarring of the bearings.
