I have included a diagram below for a 1955 Ford Passenger Car Clutch Mechanism Assembly. I am missing the piece indicated in the red circle.

It is a bracket that holds one end of the clutch return spring. I reckon the other end attaches to the fork at the bellhousing. My 55 Ford frame does not have a bracket anywhere on the frame that I can see, and to be honest I have no idea where it attaches.
I could obviously make my own bracket, but I need some idea of where the bracket should go so that the tension is right for the return spring. Can anyone make a measurement or give me a photo of the location on the frame?
thanks

On my 56 it is bolted to the frame under the steering box. I can send you an email with a pic if you like. Also if there is no difference between a 55 or 56 and a 6 cyl or v8 car I have an extra.
