That's the question.
I need to get into the workings of the doors & window mechanisms
Anyone?
Special tools needed?
Thanks
Jim

it has been a long time  since I worked on  one  but I think  there was a little spring clip on the handle behind the ring hat contacts the  door panel   If you push the  padding in you should be able to see it!

There is a tool for removing the little clip that hold the inside handles on.  It's a flat tool that fits under the base of the handle.  Don't remember what it's called.

Should be available at your local parts store maybe on the Doorman rack. You can also use an old nylon. Loop it around the handle between it and the door pull it tight and rotate it around the handle. This will often catch the clip and pull it out.

You can also use a small pick to pull the clips.Just push the door panel in and slip the pick(the kind of U shaped one) under the clip and pull.
