I have a 56 Fairlane. I'd like to install bigger sway bars. Are Station Wagon bars available? Are they bigger? If not available, what have you guys used that worked well? Thanks Jim

Gearhead Enterprises (I think in ND) was selling a front and rear sway bar kit, but they were not cheap. 1&1/8" in diameter as I remember. The Station wagons use the same 7/8" sway bars as the passenger cars. Rono

This topic is active on the 52-59 social group on the HAMB. NascarDave just posted that he has them with all mounting hardware for $150 for 1 1/8 front and $150 for 7/8 rear.

Ill tell ya Jim, wait till you install the Aerostar springs. You may decide you don't need the beefy sway bar. I have almost NO body roll now! Rowen

To all I still have to try this, But I was told that a sway bar from an 86-87 T-Bird, Cougar is a direct bolt in? Has anyone tried this?

Another recommendation for TBirdsSW. I put the 1 7/8 on the front and the 1" on the rear. Great on a 56 Vicky.

Just by adding the rear bar is all you really need. Did that to my 56 Tbird and does very nice in the curves like a new car.
