Hello guys, I'm putting a 1962 312 back together that another guy started. I'm to the point of putting the timing gears in but am missing the cam shaft thrust spacer. John mummert doesn't have any and didn't think he could get any more. I'm at a standstill on this project until I can source one or have one made. I would be most grateful to anyone that could help me track one down. Thanks!

Eether. If you’ll measure the camshaft thrust plate and give me that measurement, I can send you the appropriate cam thrust washer. Doing it this way will insure that you have the correct camshaft end play. You can find my contact information at www.eatonbalancing.com . Ted

See if these pictures of the cam hardware from the Ford Parts Manuals helps. Just remember that the cam thrust washer that goes on first at the camshaft must go on with the bevel facing the rear.
