Hi, anyone here found a way to combat the fuel that eats up the rubber parts in our carburetors?

Ethanol fuel conditioner with stabilizers by Lucas oil products Inc. One 16 oz. bottle treats up to 80 gallons of ethanol crap gas. All parts stores I believe sells this stuff.

I just bought steel needle and seats from summit and changed the rubber viton ones out. But the Ethanol will still eat at rubber fuel lines if you have them.

I use Stabil, the original formula. 1oz with every refill for the last 3 years and have not had any issues.

Just change the rubber hoses to ones that are compatible with ethanol. Never had a problem with it.

What kind of ethanol are you referring to?? Have being using Thomco kits for Autolites and Motorcraft carburetors for years without any problem whatsoever, and our gasoline has up to 26% alcohol in it.
