Is there an optimum spot on the intake to pull vacuum for a PCV valve? I'm running a Edelbrock 573 3x2 and it has a port on the rear and one behind the front carb. As tight as things are it would work better if the front port would work as the valve is pretty close to the port in the rear. Running it to the rear would take a bit of effort I think.

Probably the one behind the front carb.  Ideally, you want it distributed centrally and equally for both planes.  I'm pretty sure there are pcv carb spacers  available to do just that, for the middle carb.

Thanks Charlie. I was leaning that way just for ease of installation.
