Eddie: I can't find a Crane kit for what you want - but like Charlie....I think I've seen one before. I know there is one for the electronic Ford distributor - but the one for points????Summit sells an adjustable vacuum pot for the later Ford point distributor made by "Standard Motor Products" which is part number VC-192 (or SMP-VC-192 in the Summit listing). Its $29.95 - or you might find a local "Standard" parts outfit with a lower price. It adjusts by sticking a 7/32 hex wrench down the open vacuum port to engage a socket set-screw inside. Turning it CCW reduces travel of the vacuum pot and CW increases it.
The earlier one has a thin 5/8-3/4 hex nut on the internally threaded entrance to the vacuum pot - if you take it out there are shims in there to load the spring for the vacuum pot. changing shims will change the total vacuum advance and the rate of change.
Mr Gasket sells a set of lightweight Ford distributor springs for this application as part number 925D.
Find a local guy with a Sun distributor machine to set this thing up for you.
