Relocating dipstick tube from rear sump to front sump, what is the best way get the plug from the front hole and back in the rear hole?

You will probably have to drop the pan. Maybe you could loosen the oil pickup tube and fish it out with a magnet. Probably easier to pull the pan, though.

Wouldn't it be easier to buy a new plug for the rear hole and pull the front plug out. Just a thought...
