Looking for advice about a blower head...and well maybe a block...

On my supercharger build, the parts are being gathered. I was looking over all of the blocks I have available, etc...

EDB, C2AE, ECG, C1TE

Of the heads that I have to use, these are a few...ECG-C, ECZ-C, COAE, C1TE.

I do know that I need lower compression heads, but if I am looking to build a pretty hot street/race motor that is blown by a VS57C, running a teapot setup, Blue Thunder blower intake manifold, Jerry Christenson headers, are any of the above combos good to start with? By the way, my dad offered to sell me his 61 F600 dump that has the C1TE crank in it, etc. Good, solid, running engine - just fired it up today. Odds are that the internals are good too.

The C2AE blocks have the additional webbing in the main area which does give some extra support in that area.  Because the C2 blocks were also used as the basic foundation for the 312’s starting in ‘62, they will typically have enough meat to make for an overbored 312 but sonic testing is still recommended to weed out those that have heavy core shifting in them.  Where heavy core shifting is evident, then offset boring is an option if wanting to go to the more extremes on bore size.
