Anyone seen a rebuilt engine tag like this?

I assume that's what it is. I just noticed this on the Y block in the 1960 Ford F-250 I just bought. It's located on the block, right above the oil pan sealing surface, right near the generator. The stamping numbers look old.

I’ve come across similar tags as that one.  I’ve no idea as to who the rebuilder actually is though.  For the Y engines, I typically find the rebuilder tags on the right front of the block just above the oil pan rail.  The riveted tags that are installed by the rebuilders are more or less permanent while the decals and/or glued on tags do tend to get lost or destroyed over time.

Were I have seen  tags like this Was  on ford marine engines. A friend  restored a Chris Craft  with a 292 engine with a tag that  looked like that!
