Gents,

Congratulations to everyone here who participates in this forum, and especially to the administrators, I actively participate in a number of online forums and I have to say that this forum is the most respectful and well moderated forum I visit, Many forums struggle to keep on topic with endless off subject banter and BS that ruins the original post and leaves the genuine thread rendered useless, I get sick of intolerance for pre 49 this and not a hot rod that, and general intolerance for genuine peoples choice of vehicle within our sport / hobby.

The Y block forum to me is a leader in the car fraternity for forums, constructive conversation amongst varied skill levels of participants happy to take and give knowledge to other like minded enthusiasts without discrimination.

Well done to the admin team and all forumites, its nice to play with the big boys and refreshing to get out of the gutter of other forums.

long may it rein...

Regards

Dutchy ,

If you ever get a chance to go to Columbus ,do it .You will not meet any better people than these guys .There is no BS ( well, not much ) ,no back stabbing ,no politics ,just good honest people ,willing to help anyone they can .I have seen some ugly stuff go on in car/hot rod clubs over the years .The Y guys ( & gals ) are more like family .They ever "adopted "me ???

My Dad told me that in life you sometimes have to take the bad with the good.  I guess this proves the point.

Lon, since it's such a long drive from Oz to Missouri (private joke), and even more miles to Ohio, maybe you should fill your tank with $6.00 gas and start this way tomorrow.  You'll be pleasantly surprised to find American gas is around $4.20 today.  Hope you and your mates have a good trip to the states.
