Can someone take a picture of a y block fender emblem like this one I jacked from Bird55?

Maybe put a quarter next to it in order to establish scale. I have a pair of MR2 bucket seats and I'm getting some ideas.

Hey! you can't steal that from me-Is stole it from Henry!

Actually that's artwork I did from an emblem not a photo.

So I could send you line artwork that you could use at any size at the upholstery place if that would help.

Actually, That would be great!  Then I do not have to draw it.  It looks good.

My e-mail is charliemccraney at yahoo dot com.

Allright.  Here are a few designs I've come up with.  The goal is to give them a vintage look.

First, here is a stock MR2 bucket.  A little too modern and 80s looking, in my opinion.  I currently use them as work seats in the garage and I've noticed that they are very comfortable.  The driver seat has adjustable lumbar, adjustable side bolsters, adjustable front seat height, and an adjustable headrest.  I don't remember if the passennger seat has all of that adjustability as well but it has at least some of it - it's buried under a lot of other stuff now.  Plus, concerning the passenger, they are designed so that not only scrawny people like myself can be comfortable, unlike many of the aftermarket seats I've been looking at, and can be adjusted to fit.

And here are the ideas.

So, what do y'all think?  I like the last.  I think it takes the vintage look and adds something extra.  A friend has referred to it as the Spiderman seat.  I have some blanks I can e-mail if anyone wants to suggest a design.  I'll probably go with a combination of black vinyl, black cloth, and red stitching - if I can afford it now.

I like the idea of black, not shiny - textured naugahyde, with red stitching. Keep the v8 small and tastefull and emboss it in the black. imho

Do you know if Photoshop Elements or Corel Paint Shop X2 will do that?

I think either program might if you spend enough time with them, just have to learn what works.

I Think I'll go with this.

Alan, Could you send the line artwork of the emblem?

I got a picture of a fender emblem at a cruise-in a few weeks ago.  3.3 megapixels.  Small by todays digital camera standards but it's still huge.

Will do. I still have to get it off of my camera. Remind me if I don't get it to you soon. I'm real busy getting ready for Columbus so I may not remember.

Do you all think this is worthy?
