Bought the car 6 months ago. The week I purchased it....the guy put a new idler arm on. I measured the distance between the shoulder on the arm and the frame bracket/drag link and it measures 1/2" in both places. Is this measurement right?  Also......the bottom grease fitting on the drag link end will not take grease. Pulled the zerk out and pumped grease through it. Zerk not blocked!!!!

Any suggestions?   Thanks...........Ron

UPDATE: Found another post on Idler Arm removal on the old site. The guy gave specs as to setting it up properly. Checked mine and it was to tight. Set it to specs and it takes grease and handles like a dream. A tight arm makes a miserable driver.

Can use a box....mine still has a rough spot when the wheel is turned left. But it doesn't bind any more and you can go straight down the road without holding pressure to the left all the time.

Thanks...........for your time.    Ron

Copy into the buffer the link that's in the address bar of the site or post that you want.  I use "Cntrl" and "C" for the copy function.  Then in the text of the post where you want to put the link, do "Cntrl" and "V" to paste it in.  There's some other methods but this is the one I use.  Be sure to put a space behind the link after pasting it in to insure it works properly.
