Is there a difference between a throwout bearing for a long pressure plate versus one for a diaphragm pressure plate?

For my ’55 with a 1963 T-85 overdrive, I purchased the 1963 FE (352/390) throwout bearing that was originally designed for use with a long finger style pressure plate and used it on a diaphragm pressure plate instead.  At the time, I was just making sure that the depth of the throwout bearing was adequate and the attachment to the Y fork fit.  Works fine and never gave a thought to there being a possible difference.  Well over 100K miles on the setup.

Cool. I guess I'll just use the bearing I already have, then. Thanks. I'm picking up the FMS Tremec T5 this weekend.
