Hi Chuck,

I am planning on leaving Maine probaly Thursday morning to arrive late or early friday in Columbus, What are your plans? I am flexible at the moment but it would be more fun in a convoy of Y's.

Also This Saturday if you are bored is a large show at twitchells airport in Turner Maine, its a 2 day event, Car judging, parade, pig roast and live music. Lots of cars, even some came from Canada last year.

Unfortunately my engine is still on the hoist. Haven't quite got it hung again. I'd love to chat about hooking up for the trip. I have reservations at the Super 8 at Buckeye Lake for Thursday night. So would plan to leave Wednesday. I don't drive straight through anymore, gettin old! I'm still debating driving or trailering but would be interested in sharing the road. Maybe we could pick up some of the other New Englanders along the way. Chuck in NH

Like I said, I am flexible, I could also leave wednesday. The Super 8 you are talking about, is that half way??

I have reservations at the super 8 where Lon stays near columbus.

My normal route would be to hook up with 495 in Mass to 290 to 90, then 84 to 80 in Penn to 76 to 71. Or it may be easier just to stay on 90 all the way from mass to cleveland and hook up to 71 there down to Columbus.

Whats your normal route?

No thats at the races. I moved my reservations this year to the Lake location. I usually stop in western PA the first night. I go down to Harrisburg and accross I80 so I can stop by Summit Racing on the way. I've come back across I90 but the tolls suck. Although I do need to stop in Cincinatti this trip to pick up a 292 block. We'll have to check it out. Also when I leave Columbus I usually go up to Dearborn, MI and visit my Daughter and her family for a few days so I'm not sure about the return trip. Chuck in NH
