THIS MAY HAVE BEEN COVERED BEFORE BUT WHEN DID THEY STOP USING CORE PLUGS IN THE HEADS IN 56.IM GUESSING AROUND MAY BUT THATS JUST A GUESS.JUST WONDERING.TED OR JOHN MAY KNOW.

This is an interesting subject as to exactly when FORD changed the casting molds and did the later head carry the same CASTING I.D. NO. or was it superseded?

we know when ford posted heads put the slinger on the crank.just like to know when it was done.not importened just wanted to know.

The '56 ECZ-C heads can have the plugs or not. Early had them. Late did not. So it occurred somewhere in the course of producing the '56 model year vehicles.
