A while back someone mentioned a offset adapter to check head torque. Does anyone know where to get one?

Thanks Dobie but it's not on that site. It's a U shape so the head bolts can be torqued with the rockers in place.

In your opinion Ted, would those work with the rockers in place? Do you know what the official name for them is?

While both of the pictured tools will fit the head bolts with the rockers in place, the one at the top in the picture does give the best results.
If I can put my hands on the Manzel tool catalog I have around here somewhere, I’ll know what the official name is for those tools. In lieu of not having a catalog handy, for the time being I’ll call those either a head bolt torque adapter or a cylinder head bolt wrench.

I have one of those tools, possibly a Mac brand. When I was running stock head bolts I used that tool. Since I have gone to 1/2" head bolts with 3/4" hex, the tool no longer works. So now I just pull the rockers off, it's no big deal.

I saw on ebay there is the tool for a 3/4 hex head.
