Dana 44 out of my 54 Ranch Wagon 4:11 gears includes backing plates and brake drums. Worked fine when I pulled it. Still has oil in it.

Should be close. Put a 57 Ford rear end in a 56 Ford back in the day and it fit. Compare the measurements

There is a difference in the spring perches - same locations, but the Tbird perches were deeper lowering the car.
