I happened to be perusing one of the other Ford sites which was on about brake conversions. The topic moved around like a Jack Rabbit & I couldn't get it straight about the Granada/Versaille spindle & caliper conversions. On a 57 car, do all of these conversions also require changing to 15" wheels & tires?. Thanks

I belive you have to go to 15" wheels. Brake caliber and the bads will be the problem. yfreak57 put a '73 Torino spidles and brakes to his '57 Country Sedan and those look just the same as Granada ones. Wheels will contact to brake pads or caliber especillay if you have riveted wheels. Granada disks are 11" diameter.

I did the Granada conversion on my 54 Ford. I had 14 inch chrome reverse wheels on the car prior to the conversion and they fit the Granada hub with no problem with the back spacing and the wheels did not hit the caliper. If you want to use a stock wheel, then you must turn down the hub.

I subsequently went to Cragar SS's and had no problem with these. When I ordered the Cragars, I made sure that the offset was close or the same to the chrome reversed rims.

As noted, this was for a 54 Ford. I assume the 57 should be the same, but have no experience on a 57.

If any body is looking for 14 inch Granada wheel, I have two of them I want to sell.
