I appologize up front if this is a stupid question.  It's probably been answered a hundred times But I've just not seen it...

I just found a beautiful set of Lincoln Y-Block valve covers for a pretty fair price.  I'd like to install them on my Wagon's 272 along with a set of ram horns.  Sort of a "poor man's hot rod!"   Question is...will they fit?  A lot of the mid 50's Lincoln stuff looks close but doesn't fit quite right on the standard Ford engines.  As always, thanks for your wisdom!Smile

Hi, the 368 lincoln covers dont fit, they are longer among other things. Sure look nice though. regards  aussiebill.

A.J. Hate to rain on your parade, but not only will the valve covers not fit but the rams horns will not fit either, be it Lincoln or Ford. The Lincolns won't bolt up and the Fords dump right down on top of your engine mounts/frame cross member. Been there, done that.

Bummer!  I never even thought about the ram horns dumping right on the engine mounts.  I assumed they'd fit.  I've seen them used on 292s in F series trucks but that's a completely different front end.  Anyway, I do have one set that I'm going to use on my 62 F-250 (PO put headers on and the left side is laying right on the steering box!)  Thanks for saving me the expense and trouble of trying to put them on my 55!
