will a 312 crank fit in stock 292?Unsure
By Glen Henderson - 17 Years Ago
The main journals will have to be turned down to 292 size and rods change out to ECZ or C1TE.

292 stroke is  3.30

312 stroke is  3.44

So .140"

Yes. The mains must be turned down 0.125” to fit a 292 block.  ECZ or C1 rods will allow stock pistons to be used but using the longer EBU or C2 rods with either a stock style of piston with a cut dome or a custom piston with a revised pin location is also doable.

I did move this post to the Technical section as it was a question.
