312 Rear main seal installation

The Best Gasket Neoprene seal instructions say to loosen all the main bearings  caps before installing the seal components.
This sounds logical but just thought I’d check it out here.

ARE YOU SURE THE REARSEAL IS LEAKING. MOST REAR SEAL LEAKS ARE THE OIL PANGASKET. THE PAN SHAPE AND THIN GASKETS ARE THE CAUSE
IHAVE A KIT WITH THICKER PANGASKET,A WATER CUT PLATE FOR THE REAROF THE PAN TO BETTER SUPORT THAT ARIA. 100 US INCLUDES FRATE
CAN SEND PICTURES IF INTERESTED.
IF STAND TRANS REMOVE CLUTCH COVER AND RUN ENGINE AND WITH A GOOD LIGHT SHOULD BE OVEOUS  WHER THE OIL IS FROM. CLIFF9   55 METEOR)
