Anyone have a vacuum diagram for 57 Tbird 312 with original Holley 4 barrell?

WELL I DON'T HAVE A VAC. DIAGRAM BUT YOU REALLY DO NOT HAVE A RATS NEST OF VAC THINGS ON A STOCK 57 FORD CAR. OK- YOU HAVE VAC TO DIST. (FROM INTAKE MANIFOLD 'TEE'), A TAP TO RUN THE VAC WIPERS(THIS IS TRICKY-YOU MUST RUN A VAC LINE TO YOUR DUAL STAGE FUEL PUMP- AND THEN RUN WIPERS FROM THAT.(THIS IS BECAUSE AT ACCELLERATION-VAC SIGNAL 'GOES TO ZERO' ,AND THIS WOULD SLOW WIPERS DOWN SO MUCH AS TO BE UNUSEABLE- SO THE FORD PEOPLE MADE ANOTHER BOOST VAC PUMP IN THE FUEL PUMP TO HELP WITH THIS-THE LAST THING YOU WANT WHEN IT'S RAINING HARD IS YOUR WIPERS QUITTING ON YOU. AND THEN IF YOU HAVE PWR BRAKES- RUN A GOOD SIZED (3/8 I. D. OR SO) RUBBER OR STEEL LINE TO THAT. NOW I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THIS- BUT MY 54 MERC HAD A VAC LINE GOING TO THE BACKSIDE OF THE DASH WIPER SWITCH THAT WHEN YOU PULLED ON THE WIPER KNOB- VAC WAS GIVEN TO A WASHER PUMP ASM TO WASH THE WINDSHEILD(YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE THIS-ALSO I'VE HEARD THAT SOME 57 FORDS HAD ELECTRIC WIPERS--NOT NEEDING ANY VAC LINES). SIDE NOTE>>I HAVE CONVERTED MY AUTO TRANS TO A 1962 3 SPEED- AND I NEEDED A VAC SIGNAL TO THE VAC MODULATER CAN TO SHIFT THE TRANS-EARLY FORD TRANSMISSIONS DID NOT USE THIS(LIKE 57 AUTO) AND LASTLY>>I ALSO CONVERTED TO A PVC SYSTEM SO I HAVE A VAC LINE GOING TO THAT(YOU MIGHT WANT TO DO PVC IN THE FUTURE-SO IT WOULD BE WISE TO INCORPORATE SOME KIND OF VAV 'BLOCK' WITH SEVERAL 'TAPS' FOR THINGS YOU MIGHT ADD DOWN THE ROAD. I THINK I HAVE COVERED IT ALL-- IF NOT REPLY AND I'LL TRY TO ADD TO THIS>>>BYE

morgus, thanks for the info., where does the tee go in the intake? is it the larger hole at the very back? how about vac. to the Holley 4 barrell?

YES, USE THE LARGE PIPE TAPPED HOLE IN THE BACK OF THE INTAKE. I DO NOT USE ANY PORT ON MY HOLLEY- I CLOSE THEM BOTH OFF( IN REGUARDS TO DIST. VACUUM)IT'S TOO EASY TO GET THEM CONFUSED AND HOOKED UP WRONG- I RUN MY DIST. VAC OFF THE INTAKE IN THE FRT INTAKE MANIFOLD AREA(NON-PORTED VAC SIGNAL) WITH MY 57 TYPE DIST. AND STOCK VAC. AVD. CAN. PLEASE NOTE NOT TO USE A 55 OR 56 DIST. WITH 'MODERN' (57 AND NEWER) HOLLEY CARB- IT DOES NOT HAVE THE SPECIAL VAC PORT TO RUN THE TIMING ADVANCE CORRECTLY AND THE MOTOR WILL NEVER GET THE RIGHT ADVANCE IT NEEDS. (AND WILL RUN POORLY).(AND ALSO NOTICE ALL THE TRI-POWER CARBS DON'T HAVE IT EITHER- IF YOU CHANGE YOUR CARB(S), YOU MUST ALSO CHANGE THE DIST. TO MATCH THEM SO IT WILL RUN CORRECTLY. BYE
