Many people want to try and center the rocker arm over the tip of the valve these days. But I'm not so sure.

Just out of curiosity, how much weight can be saved by removing the "excess" rocker material? Would doing so adversely affect the rocker integrity?

Not sure on the weight. If done properly it wouldnt hurt the integrity.
