Hey Frank,
Used to be, every shop had a hot tank for stripping/degreasing. I understand the EPA has put an end to that.
Where in our area would you take parts (oil pan, etc) for hot tank/acid dip? Or are those facilities now limited to larger, metro industrial operations?

Dan,
Really don't know, I had my stuff sand blasted in Elkhart. Have you tried Ridge in SB?

Don't have a S.B. phone book handy. What kind of facility is that?
Just hoping I could avoid the typical grunge work of scraping out sludge, and strip the paint simultaneously with a tank-dip of multiple parts (if feasible).

Dan, Ridge auto parts/machine shop. I'll look it up.

Frank,
Don't bother, I found it (Ridge/NAPA machine shop: 574-234-3161). I'll call them and ask about hot-tank service.
