Y-Guys Not an original "Y" part,but a little help from my friends;

The rear bushing, in my T-5, needs replacing. does the rear

tailhousing have to come off to do it? or ?

Thx in advance

I just replaced the bushing in mine using an old tool that slips down the tailshaft and locks onto the bushing, then you draw it out like a damper puller. The tool was sold by Snap-On, I'll try to post a picture later, It's at the shop 20 miles away and it is Sun.  Wink

No, You don't have to remove the tailshaft housing.

OK, here are some pictures of the tool, it is sold by Snap-On part# S-8672. This is an old tool so I don't know if the still stock it, but I would think some local shop would have something like it.
