I had to take off the pan this week end and when I did I noticed that the rubber gasket on the pick up tube was distorted. Whe I install the new one how tight do you tighten the nut into the oil pump? Does it tighten till it bottoms out or just till it has put pressure on the seal? Thanks

 You tighten the nut until it bottoms out snug.
