T5 swap

Can anybody confirm if a tail housing off a S-10 T5 will bolt up to a T5 out of a 90's Thunderbird coupe?  Need to move the shifter up and people tell me the swap is the best option but want to confirm that trans and tail housing will bolt together with no major problems.  I called a place about one they had for sale but was told the S-10 tail would not bolt up to my T5.  Thanks

I scrounged an S10 T5 tailshaft and I can confirm that it will bolt up to a Ford WC T5.

      Find a decent parts guy. I found out this week that some of the early electronic speed sensors also have a conventional cable drive used to operate the cruise control. Ford did in the Rangers, if GM, also did you have a method to drive the speedo that will fit the T-5.
