I don't want to ask anyone to do more work-believe me, This is a great place.

But after all this time here, it seems like YBF could have a FAQ section for instant answers for yblocks. Example

"How do I tell if I have a 312 or a 292?" or what are the torques specs for the intakes manifold?"

"How old do you think the "hoosier" really is? Tongue

sorry John just being sarcastic on that one, but what about it?, and how could it happen? Just a thought.

From what I understand one could also do Wikipedia section or site for this purpose Or a "knol" possibly. Again, just thinking-I better get back to what I'm supposed to be doing.

On second thought-I volunteer to prep example illustration, diagrams & photos to go along with it if you want, if you want.

...Since you bring it up. I have thought the same thing. I just haven't brought it up 'cause I know Jim's busy enough. It seems like a lot of the same types of questions are being asked in tech lately.

Maybe a sticky topic that stays at the top of the list with that sort of info would work.

Al and Charlie:

I realize a lot of the same questions keep being asked, but remember most of the repeat questions, if not all, are from guys new to the site, and maybe have not sorted out the methods to pulling up previous topics.  We have to help these people, even if it seems repetitious.

Al, for the record, the birthday I celebrated last month was one between the 67th and the 69th.  Now that won't have to be posted in a FAQ.

One of his best friends is 74 or 5. you'd never know it talking to him. He's a former NHRA racer with a string of accomplishments that would put us all to shame. He still cuts lights on competitors and sounds like Ronny Sox on a four speed. It's fun watching those guys take the wind out of the sails of their younger competitors. Remember the old addage? "Old age and treachery will overcome youth and enthusiasm every time!"

Both of them will help anybody, who asks, with out strings or lectures, anytime, any where. Except, when you're in the other lane!!!
