2 or 3 weeks ago I asked JM when it would be available, and he said January.  Does anyone know more?  He also said it wouldnt have heat, and that the plenum and runners would have less volume.  Pretty sketchy info, but I want one now, before something happens to the saved up cash.

I was going to buy a Blue Thunder until I heard about the new one. I am waiting too.

Apparently, Mummert has a lot on his plate these days. Getting castings designed & into production takes time & money. Call him in February, maybe.

Ibuzzard told me they may be here in June.  He and I had both made recent email inquiries without response.  His wife contacted JM. Steve is in Iraq.

Mike,I've decided to just use the stock one.No offense to JM,but reliability, being responsive, good communication are important to me when I'm spending my hard-earned.I think maybe he has too many irons in the fire. But I'm over in Iraq, working 12 plus hours ,seven days per week, and I can find time for emailing.Phone calls are out due to the time difference.I had been looking to spend upwards of a grand, chump change to some, but not to me.No response from John to any of my four emails. Not trying to cause a family feud, just being honest.Steve

When I heard some time ago about Mummert's proposed new intake manifold, which as I understand it is to be more suitable for smaller displacement & milder engines, I was also enthusiastic. Unfortunately, he has apparently decided to cast them with no provision for carb or choke heat. And unfortunately for the many of us don't live in California, that isn't such a great idea..

Hi Steve,

When I bought my ram-horn manifolds, I have since called JM 2 or 3 times and he usually answers the phone. Just call during business hours early in the day and I'll bet he answers.....he seems pretty responsive. Plug a mic into your computer, use Skype and it won't cost much!

IRAQ......cool. you over there on vacation?

Cheers,

Rick

You know,I can't just get to a phone easily,as if in the states, only after my shifts, which are 12+ hours, seven days per week. With the time difference, email's my only alternative.Things are not like in the states.
