Hi guys,

It seems hard to believe that it will be 6 years ago on January 31 that the website went online. I just looked at the total hit count since that date and we are within a hundred of being 245,000. I can't help but think about something that Bob Martin said back when the site first went up, that "This will be the crossroads for Y-Blockers all over the world." I thought he had gotten into the moonshine, but he was a prophet! Thanks to the forums, the site continues to expand.

I know that many of you have noticed issues with some of the functions of the forum and I have been aware of it too. The guy that set up the sequel server for me has disappeared, doesn't return e-mails, answer his phone, etc. So I have been looking for quite some time for a good developer that can get things cooking again. I am not a developer, and that is what is needed to get javascript cooking properly again. I think that I have found our ace in the hole, and he has been looking at the javascript coding and so with any luck, we may get full functionality soon.

Thanks again, it has been a great ride so far!

Congrats Jim, AND thanks a million! Unlike Bob Martin I never thought this would be that much of a go, but I didn't care because I found info I need and like interests. And boy, have I.

Thanks to this website my interest in my bird was rekindled by all "the latest technology" here.

What realy amazes me is how many new Names I see pop up on a regular basis now.

I really do think the resurgence of the Y has happened. It's "new" territory for many out there.

I want to add my thanks and appreciation to you here Jim. It's more than I had hoped. Lets not forget Bruce Young and Y-Block Magazine that brought a lot of us back on the path the Y's. That sort of led the way to all these things that are happening now. At least it got us aware of the worlds passion for our favorite engines, and people! And thanks to all who post (and lurk) here! You guys make it the greatest source for all things Y-Block (and more). Chuck in NH

Thanks a million Jim.  It's been a great ride for me.  But has been stated, it is all about the people.  Even though there are different opinions at times, they do not develop into flame wars.  God bless you.

Thanks for the website Jim. Great learning tool.

Did you get a chance to try the pie recipe?

Jim ,

Congratulations on 6 years.

What would we all do without this site??? At the push of a button we can tap into a vast wealth of knowledge that would take 3 lifetimes to learn. With guys like Ted & John as our backups (plus all the other regulars) we can rebuild any motor around the world. It doesn't matter if someone is having trouble with points in Alaska or a carb in Nebraska. There is always someone wiling to help. That's what it's all about. The Y-Block Family or the Columbus Clan, call it what you like. It's the BEST site there is.

My congratulations and Happy Birthday to Y Blocks Forever. If it wasnt purely by accident that I found this website I would most likely still be trying to figure out all the ailments my car had. It is by far the BEST site ever. A great bunch of extremely knowledgable and dedicated guys to a great engine . I have learned tons of information and helpful hiints and I cant thank this site and its members enough. I eagerly await the next 6 years. Earl Dagenhart

Thanks Jim for all that you do to keep the web site going. It is a great place to come to gather information. There is so much experience here. Everyone here has been great and has helped me a great deal. None of this would be possible without your efforts, and the knowledge from guys like Ted, John, Frank, Steve M, and so many of the others.

Thanks again guys.

JIM, A BIG THANK YOU FROM ME AS WELL. This site has been a bigger help to us than I could have ever imagined. This site with the Y-BLOCK Magazine has put our favorite engine up with the best. Thanks again!!!!!

Jim, thanks a ton from N. Florida. Without this site there would be a lot of Y-block people floundering in the dark, hit and miss with no positive direction. Because of this site we, those of us that's not as attuned to Y-blocks as some, have a library of information at our fingertips. I have referred a lot of Y-block people here from the HAMB. Thanks a ton Thanks again ...

This is by far one of the best sites for y-block info!!! I've just spent over an hour reading old posts on the t-5 swap for trucks, and although I am laid up till june, will be gathering parts for my swap as soon as my busted leg is healed upw00t.Thanks to the administrators and all the guys with the tips, trials, and errors for the rest of us.  Larry

Even though I've only been here a short time, I'd like to say Cheers to you as well. I've owned Fords (Falcons, F100's, Econolines etc..) but nothing with a 292 till now. I'm impressed with the Little V8 and wish I'd had one when I was younger. I notice there's a few guys from the slick60's truck site which is where I got the referral to this site. The very night I signed on to this site, I had numerous questions answered in a few minutes of browsing. So here's to you Guy's for a great site and to many more years and members.   Thanks.BigGrin

Hey " Y " ,

If you think the guys are good "Online " , try and make it to Columbus ?? To meet them in person is something else . You will not find a more sincere bunch of people anywhere .Some will even fix you car .Some will even buy you food .Some will buy you a beer ???? All of them will show you a great time . Some of them have even been know to get a little careless with the truth ??( only to make the stories sound better )

Regards Lon

PS . please note I never said a bad word about anyone (not even the Canucks )

I like the guys that buy you a beer the most ????

I'm already having dreams about it!  Weird dreams, mind you.  Last night's involved zombies.  But it was still fun!
