Y-Guys        I've been looking for a "post" that will show correct layout

of the rocker shafts, springs, washers, etc, with the oil holes in the

correct location. I looked at Ted's layout of a roller assembly, in YBM,

but I would like a little more imput........

                                    Thanks in advance

Have you tried this link to the shop manual for old Fords?  As long as you have high speed it loads up ok and shows a lot of info for free.

I just came in from trying to start my 59 Fairlane.  It's been put away for winter for 4 months now.  No luck.  I'll wait till it's warmer too.  It's not snowing today but it is 15 below C.

Here is a stock shaft.  At each end, the order is cotter pin, flat washer, wave washer, flat washer, rocker arm.

Looking at the motor from the front, the left overflow tube is at the front of the engine; the right over flow tube is at the rear of the engine.

Sorry Ted, hope these aren't too big.

Al.  The first picture in your post is too wide as it’s causing the text to roll off the right side of my screen on my end.  If you can make the picture so its only 700 wide on your end, that should fix the text ‘roll off’ problem and will not require editing the post.  If I need to fix the picture from my end, just let me know.
