Hey Guys,

Got my f100 purring today, till the fuel pump started pissing out, seems the can on the bottom was sealed with regualr silicone. I looked at a few sites to replace the pump , and they list one with a vacuum pump intergril, I don't think the one i have has a vacuum pump. Any reccomendations?

oh and I did try to reseal the bottom, to no avail, stripped

One of the Y-block (272, 292, 312) or FE (353, 390, 406, 428, 427) type engine fuel pumps will do the trick. Especially if you don't need the upper vacuum pump for the wipers. It has a pair of upward facing vacuum tube fittings as a quick ID.

There are a number of the 390 pickup engines that had pumps that included a lower fuel filter canister.

You can use a standard FE pump if you don't need the vacume wiper connections. These are easily available at almost any parts store! I use a Holley high performance pump for a 427 Ford on my Vicky. Works well with the supercharger. Chuck in NH

hey Mike - try this web site - www.rockauto.com

Look up a 75 Ford F-150 with a 390. There are several brands and part numbers of pumps listed with the tin can fuel filter on the bottom.

Even if you don't usually do business with "the Rock" its a good way to research parts and other items.....
