I'm building a streetable 292 F100...

Which 4-bbl intake works good and which carb-cam combo?

I would look for a late model 57 up intake manifold. It uses the larger holley flange.

I have used a 390 CFM Holley and it works well. I have a buddy with a 500 CFM Edelbrock on his and it also runs great.

Look for the later truck 4 BBL manifold as the runners appear to be a higher rise. If they are that means more torque.

There are plenty of these manifolds to be found. Shouldn't have to give more than $100

The New "Blue Thunder" manifold is aluminum and will make the most HP. But it is pricey.

Good Luck!

The Ford 4 bbl manifold you want is the ECZ 9425-B. It has the Holley 4150/4160 bolting pattern. The four throttle bore holes are a little small if you want to put a standard 600 CFM throttle plate on there. For some reason they've been selling out of reason on ebay.......
