Umm, are some C2AE blocks 312s?

Where are people coming up with prices for this stuff?

Only if it was a marine engine.

Based on his seller's name "Birdland567" he might be a T bird vendor, hence the prices.

If you guys think the fact that it might fit a bird runs the price up, take a look at at what happens if it fits a vette. "http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/58-61-62-63-65-66-67-Corvette-NOS-D-308-Distributor-Cap_W0QQitemZ310131564709QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item310131564709&_trksid=p4506.m20.l1116" I found this while I was looking for a cap for a 57 GMC. Needless to say, I'm going to live with an aftermarket.

Yeah, if you look at birdman's listings, ALL of his stuff is very high.  I seriously doubt he'll get over a thousand bucks for a stripped-down 312.

Then I hope it sells. I have 5 "Bird Engines" to get rid of!

I do have a C2AE block that is a 312 and it did come from a boat with a set of 113 heads. Wink

I think this is the same guy who had the last high priced 312 core on eBay.
