I am chasing a '57 up distributor with the dual advance, vacuum and mechanical.
I need the model with the bent arm on the Vacuum unit as I have a Accel kit to fit.
The distributor I have seems to be an odd bod as it has a straight arm on the advance and the Accel unit fouls its operation. This distributor is also dual advance but may have been only released in OZ!!!
Hope someone can help me.

I sent you an email on a distributor I came across today. I don't know if its the one with a bent vacuum arm that you want. Yours for postage. If you want it, I will contact my friend who has it and check the arm. Don't know about condition as it is among a bunch of parts he was given. Let me know if the email didn't reach you.

Rick - a picture (I hope) of the inside of the dizzy. The shaft has no side play, but seems to turn somewhat hard. Also, there is a half tooth broken off the lower gear. Is this the bent vacuum thing you mentioned? Otherwise, it appears to be in good condition. I sent you an email with a picture to the address listed in your profile.
