Hy Guys.

I'm kind of new here, and I'm sending my first question. I looked at the forum arquives, but I'm still in doubt.

I have a 1974 Ford Galaxie 500 (made in Brasil) and the original engine is a 292 Y-Block.

I have always used NGKs ap5fs spark plugs, and the car runs great. Well, I found on a swap meet a set of 8 Champion RF14Y spark plugs, brand new in box, and I'm thinking about changing from the NGKs to the Champions. Is this a good idea?

The runs on 91 actane "Podium gasoline" from Petrobras, and acasionaly on Texaco Techron. All gasoline fuel here in Brasil has 25% etilic alcohool on it since 1980.

Knowing this, would you change from NGK?

Thanks.

Túlio.

I have always preferred F14 Y plugs in my Y-blocks. However, it may be a different story with your gas. It's worth a try. About the worst that can happen is that you don't notice any difference.
