Yes ,I know it's not powered by a Y .Maybe he might take out that motor and replace it with a stroked "Doc " Eaton special . Either way, this is one trick 55 .I would not mind it parked in my garage .

I like the little emblem he made except a 429 isn't even a Y type block. Tongue

Is the emblem painted on there? I like it.

It appears to be painted on based off the picture in the magazine.  With out a doubt it has a sweet stance and is one sharp looking ride.  There is also a mention of Red's Headers and the fact that they now make Ram Horns for they Y in the same issue.

Bill:

Karol doesn't have internet.  Bruce at Y Block magazine will not give out addresses, but will forward a letter if you send it to Bruce to be addressed.

A few weeks ago when his name popped up here, it reminded me that I should send him a letter, and I did.  I haven't heard a reply, he usually does.  I am a little concerned.  But he takes long vacations, like to S America, maybe he's on vacation.

Good point, wear goggles or better yet goggles and faceshield when grinding or wire brushing. A long time back, for what ever reason I looked up at the dropped ceiling above my grinder and noticed it was growing hair. Upon closer inspection if found wire wheel wires stuck in the ceiling!!! Convinced me to wear eye protection...
