Have any of you Yblock pro's checked out this oil? Its $10.95 a quart on line and comes in 10/30 and 15/30. Its supposed to be super for pre 1973 engines and has a high zinc content. I think the site is   www .joegibbsracingoil.com

I would like to hear some thoughts on it if anyone is interested in checking it out. I think Sacramento Vintage Ford offers it for sale.

I dont know anything yet about their regular oil, but my machinist recommended his break in oil for my newest rebuild.  I have not yet run it but I will let you know the result.

Thanks Jan, purdy ride there! I should have included the type of joe gibbs racing oil, which is "hot rod oil".

I have heard that "racing oil" is not good for a street car because of its additive package ??????

Brad Penn "high zinc" racing oil has a detergent package. Not too expensive for an occasional driver.
