I think I put some pics up awhile ago of our latest mockup on the T, if not I will look for some. The car is currently blown apart again this time hopefully for the finish welding on the frame. We had to make some changes to it and need to fix a few small snafu's - think its all gonna turn out pretty good though. The engine waits patiently to be assembled, we have probably 99% of the parts gathered up waiting to go together. Still need to do the steering (think I have a corvair box located here locally) brakes (need to figure out what I am going to do for our brake pedal/mc mount. Need a radiator, was given a grille shell by a buddy. Need one windshield stanchion and the body should be complete.

School ends the 29th, really doubt the car will be finished by then! Hopefully we can put a good roller together though and we can hit it hard again next year.

Thanks again to all the incredible genorosity and help given here. I have gone from not knowing a thing about y-blocks to an enthusiast who found a new place to hang out and learn, thanks again!

Dan,

As a former teacher, I know how frustrating it can be not to finish a project in the current year with seniors.  You are right, you will hit the ground running next school year and with some of the same students.

We have a new grandson in Montana and we will be driving up to see him next September.  Perhaps we can drop by to meet you and check out the project.

Later.............

Absolutely, I would love to show you (or anyone else who is in the area) around! I am going to miss the seniors but I saw a prospective class list for next year and I am getting a whole bunch of good kids back, I think (hope) I am building some good interest in the class. We will stay in touch about visiting the class and again if anyone else is in the area and would like a tour I would love to have you stop by!!
