By Paulie9fingers - 16 Years Ago I have a '62 Galaxie with a Ford-O-Matic two speed trans and I want to put in a Cruise-O-Matic three speed. I have (3) Cruise-O-Matics but they are out of '63 Galaxies and are for FE's, can I remove the FE bellhousing and bolt on one for a Y-Block. If so, does anyone have one. Thanks for any help you may have By MoonShadow - 16 Years Ago I have a Cruise O that was bolted up behind my Y-Block. Worked great when removed. I replaced it with an AOD. Make a reasonable offer! That would be complete with torque converter and flex plate (assuming I can find it). Easy to deliver to Columbus! I have a local friend that is supposedly taking care of a trans for me, we'll see. If this doesn't materialize I'll be in touch, do you know if all the main bodies are the same no matter what engine bellhousing is present.
