Installing discs on the bird and installed a Granada master cylinder. New brake lines wont fit due to battery being in the way. I only have fittings on battery side of master cylinder. Any body have this issue before? I had to quit working on car due to my blood sugar dropping and I was getting unable to stay in control. But I am better now and I need some ideas on how to fix this .

Birdman - do you belong to the Yahoo group ClassicBirds? You may be able to get a solution to your problem (if no one here comes up with one) there since a lot of these guys have done the disk brake/dual master thing and they may have a solution.

Sorry I can't help

I have seen ad's for M/C's with ports on either side, you just plug off the side that you don't need. I know that some guys have used a corvette M/C for other applications. I am not that familiar with the birds so I am having a hard time visualizing just what your problem is. I am sure that someone has had a similar problem though.

Hey Bird man;   ABS brakes in Orange, Cal. Have some bango fittings that will form a 90 deg angle coming of the Master cylinder. Then you can put your lines in at the bottom and miss the Battery.  I used these to put their electric master on my Bird.  Works slick.   They have a wedsite.  Hope this helps    God Bless    Eddie
